Will my child get spotted by Manchester United and become a Manchester United player?
The main focus on every Manchester United Soccer Schools course is that all children achieve success regardless of ability. Players will not be scouted on Manchester United Soccer Schools courses. However, we hope that everybody will leave the course knowing how to become a better player.
How can I get a trial with the Academy?
Manchester United has a scouting network to identify talented youngsters. Players need to make an impression for their local club/team. You cannot apply for a trial through Manchester United Soccer Schools.
Will my child's performance on the pitch be improved?
It is our aim for every young player to be challenged, gain success and most of all enjoy training and playing the game. Our coaching staff are specifically trained to pass on how Manchester United play and train their youngsters of all ages and abilities.
What are the chances of meeting a player?
It is unlikely that the players will be able to attend our courses because of their busy training and match schedule. However we always endeavour to get as much exposure to the first team and the club as possible.
My child is attending on his/her own; will he/she be ok?
Yes, the majority of players attend without friends and family. Individuals will be placed in groups with players of the same age who are also on their own. The first session of every course is designed to help all individual players integrate to form a team and also make new friends.
What qualifications and checks do your staff have?
All coaches are UEFA/FA qualified, recruited, trained and developed by Manchester United Soccer Schools. All on and off field staff have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau and undertake specific course training in order to provide the best possible experience for all participants. Manchester United Soccer Schools and CMT Learning are committed to the safety and welfare of all players attending our courses and have a Safeguarding Children Policy in place. On all our courses there is a minimum of 2 qualified first-aiders. Manchester United also has a Children's Services Officer who is in direct contact with Manchester United Soccer Schools

My Son cannot attend the GK week; can he receive GK coaching on another week?
We only offer one week of GK specific training and no GK specific sessions will take place on the other weeks.
My Daughter cannot attend the scheduled girl's week, can she attend another week?
Unfortunately we can only accept individual girls on the scheduled girl's course. If you have a team of 14 or more then we can accept this on the other weeks.
My son is just outside the relevant age for a particular course. What can I do?
Unfortunately your child has to be of the relevant age throughout the duration of the course.
How many weeks can my child attend for?
We advise you only send your child on a maximum of two consecutive weeks courses. This is due to the busy training schedule throughout the week, after two weeks your child will be extremely tired. We also provide a weekend stay at an extra cost if you want us to care for your child in between courses. We provide 24 hour supervision with structured activities including a fun trip to Alton Towers, which is one of Europe's top theme parks.
